Promoting good nutrition for children and their Kids Cafe program, the Greater Chicago Food Depository brought U.S. Senator Dick Durbin to Casa Juan Diego on Friday, August 7, 2009.

Sen. Durbin toured the youth center, served lunch and encouraged the children to make healthy eating choices.

Thanks to its partnership with the Food Depository, Casa Juan Diego is able to offer healthy snacks and meals every day to children in the after-school and summer camp programs.
