Thousands March for an End to Deportations and Reform of Immigration Laws

Parishioners and friends of St. Pius V took part in the May 1 march from Union Park on Chicago's west side to Daley Plaza for a rally in support of comprehensive immigration reform and an end to the separation of families through deportation.

Thousands of Chicago-area residents took part in the event, calling on President Obama and Congress to make good on campaign promises to address the need for a revamping of the nation's immigration policy. St. Pius V parish leaders helped organize the march and rally.
