Octubre es el Mes de la Concientización sobre la Violencia Doméstica | October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Silencio No Es Una Opción
Hable de violencia doméstica y violencia entre jóvenes (violencia entre parejas intimas):
  • Levante conocimiento sobre violencia doméstica con otros.
  • Ayude a terminar la vergüenza y estigma que las sobrevivientes enfrentan.
  • Ayude a familias y amigos aprender cómo pueden apoyar alguien quien ha experimentado violencia doméstica.
  • Aboge por la educación para que nuestros jóvenes aprendan formar relaciones saludables y prevenir las no saludables.
Para terminar con la violencia doméstica tenemos que ser partes de la solución.

  • Raise awareness among others in our community
  • Help to end shame and stigma that domestic violence survivors face
  • Help families and friends learn how they can support someone who has experienced violence
  • Advocate for education for our youth to build healthy relationships and prevent behaviors that perpetuate violence
To end domestic and dating violence, we all need to be part of the solution.

Girls or boys who want to publicly affirm their growing maturity with a quinceaños celebration at St. Pius V need to register with the parish 6 months before their 15th birthday and are required to participate in preparatory classes. Call the parish office to register.

Adult Faith Formation
Here at St. Pius we have an on-going group of adults who are in the process of faith formation. Some are preparing for sacra- ments while others are making a further commitment to engage more in their faith and to become more involved in the parish.
