Oportunidades para servir en San Pío V

San Pío V invita a todos a servir en nuestra parroquia. Muchos ministerios ofrecen oportunidades de servir a otros.

  1. Servir en nuestra Tiendita de segunda, 1854 S. Ashland, lunes a viernes de 10:00am a 5:00pm. Ayuda a separar ropa y servir a clientes.
  2. Servir en nuestra dispensa los martes de 2:00 a 5:00pm llenando bolsas de comida para familias con necesidad.
  3. Servir en nuestra comedor popular preparando y sirviendo comida los lunes, viernes y sábados de 10:00am a 2:30pm.
  4. Servir como catequista o ayudante a catequistas para ayudar a nuestros niños y jóvenes aprender más sobre su fe.
  5. Ayudar a una persona con desabilidades aprender sobre la fe sirviendo en SPRED.
  6. Servir como ministro en una misa, como lector, comentador, ujier, o ministro de comunión.
  7. Cantar o tocar un instrumento en el coro para una o más misas los domingos.
  8. Servir ayudando en la oficina parroquial con meter información en la computadora, archivar o componer correo.

Ways to Serve at St. Pius V

Opportunities to serve at St. Pius V

St. Pius V invites everyone to serve in our parish community.  Many ministries offer opportunities to serve others.

  1. Serve in our secondhand store, 1854 S. Ashland, Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Help sort clothing and serve customers.
  2. Serve in our food pantry (Tuesdays from 2:00 to 5:00pm) making bags of food for families in need.
  3. Serve in our soup kitchen preparing and serving food and cleaning up afterwards on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00am to 1:30pm.
  4. Serve as a catechist or catechist helper on Sundays to help form our children and youth learn about their faith.
  5. Help one person with disabilities learn about the faith by serving in SPRED.
  6. Serve as a minister in one of the Masses, either as a lector, commentator, usher, greeter or minister of communion.
  7. Sing or play an instrument in the choir for one or more Masses on Sundays.
  8. Serve by helping in our parish office by doing data entry, filing, or helping with mailings.
