Help with Legal Questions this Sunday at St. Pius V

We are so grateful to Caroline Schoenberger, a lawyer and friend of the parish, for being available for legal consultations on immigration issues several times over the past year.

Caroline will be at St. Pius V again on Sunday, May 21 in our chapel after the 9:15 am Mass for consultation with any parishioner about immigration issues, including securing guardians for children and property.

Lend Your Voice to “On the Table” on May 16

Join us for a discussion about our community on Tuesday, May 16 at 6:30 pm at St. Pius V parish.

The Chicago Community Trust’s On the Table is an annual forum designed to elevate civic conversation, foster new relationships and inspire collaborative action across the region. Every May tens of thousands of Chicago-area residents gather in small groups to discuss the challenges and opportunities we face. These conversations inspire new ways we can work together to make our communities stronger, safer, and more dynamic.

St. Pius V Parish invites you to a discussion of: “The Impact of National and Local Politics on the Poor and Communities of Color.”

All are welcome!

Mass and Dinner with our Friends from St. Vincent Ferrer Parish

We are so blessed to have a long relationship with our sister parish, St. Vincent Ferrer in River Forest!

Each spring they visit us for Mass and dinner at our parish and every fall we do the same at their place. It is a wonderful opportunity to share our gifts, our cultures, and our lives with one another.

On Saturday, April 29, 2017, they came for their spring visit to St. Pius V. Thanks to all who participated, to the volunteers and in a special way to the Julia Center, for sending their dancers to present Mexican Folkloric Dance at our gathering.
